It will be interesting when the Crash Report is done. What will the vehicle computer module say is the reason for the sudden acceleration????? CYA at its best from Octo. thats one reason I don't use them, the other is the employees steal my change.....

Yeah, I heard about this the day it happened. But this bit about it being the Cherokees fault is new. How the hell did the determine that? Seriously stupid response from Octopus if you ask me. The wife did me a favor once a couple of years ago and took my 2004 Avalanche down to Octopus to have it washed for me. I get a call from her with the bad news. They drove a Ford F150 into the back of my truck. The Ford airbag deployed, but the only thing that happened to mine was a tweaked rear bumper. They did pay to have it repaired, but still...........

They ripped the entire air damn assymbly out of my ex-idiots Jetta. Their reaction was to pay for the damages (after a long fight) and they no longer will wash that model of car.

The way they drive the vehicles out of the "tunnel" is scary especially when they are busy. I have seen them be in such a hurry that they have nearly missed hitting their co-workers and customers trying to pick up their vehicles, not to mention that the floor is wet and they have skidded at least once. I think they need to really hash out who they have driving the vehicles in the first place. I am curious as to what sort of documentation/certification they require for driving customers vehicles, ie driver's license... I think it is a mistake to comment and ban a vehicle based on the workers comments alone (which they appear to have done). I am glad that Chrysler responded and I wonder if they would consider taking legal action for slander, since Octopus all but accused them of covering up an acceleration issue like Toyota...
