Been busy this week at work so the week went by real fast. This weekend the honey do list took over.
Project 1: Move dryer out of my garage. Status: Completed
We recently redid our family room with new cabinets, sheet rock, tile floor, and a laundry closet. Due to some unforeseen events, It took a little longer to get the wiring done for the dryer. the main reason was so i could leave a 220 plug in the garage. Today, it was accomplished. Well, I couldn't wait any longer so i decided to tear into the engine i picked up for the bus. VW engines are pretty simple to work on plus the following books are life savers to have if you have vw's.
Bentley manual for your specific VW
John Muir's How to keep your Volkswagen alive, a manual of step by step procedures for the complete idiot.
and also Tom Wilson's How to rebuild your VW aircooled engine.
A little
Didn't do much today, my oldest daughter left to go back home in Arizona, so we had a very nice long breakfast at Wecks. When i got back home, i started cleaning the garage out so i can get started on the engine for my bus. it was a mess. it still is cluttered but my work bench is now clear.
I also took some pics of the back yard and some of the other vehicles that i will be working on.

well the new year is upon us and with the new year i hope to get myself in gear and complete a few projects on the vehicles i have and some jobs around the house. i also will try to post things i think are amusing and hopefully will make someone else laugh.
i have four vehicles i am working on:
1960 karmann ghia
a beautiful nice little coupe that lori wanted. all i have done to date is acquire some interior parts, a new 1600 cc engine
